Magnetic Island is situated right in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef just of the coast of Townsville. 'Maggie' has been overlooked as a dive destination for many a year, yet we have some of the best diving in Australia.
Dive sites
The granite boulder coastline provides excelent fringing reefs with many swimthroughs and the odd shipwreck. The marine life that can be found includes Turtles, Nudibranch's, Bull Rays, Wobbygongs, Eels and a huge variety of vertibrates an invertabrates.
